Culture

Conduct

In Italy especially Venice, the locals are very consider about their appearances and how they dress up themselves. They will judge you in the way you dressed and create a first and lasting impression of you. Although we are tourists when visiting the country and we might not know the norms, some locals will still mind how you wear as a respect to the culture of the country.

Their standard form of greeting is handshake. They will also kiss on each other cheek as a form of greeting but only to people they are closer with like friends or families. When you are introducing yourself to the locals, it is best to probably not to kiss on the cheek unless you are sure that they are expecting it.
